Trinity United Church of Christ

           A community of many faces.  Some are young, some are old.  Some are familiar, many are new.  Some are seen at worship, some at church school.  Some are seen building houses, some are seen delivering supplies to migrant workers.  Some faces sing, others pray.  Some speak, others listen.  Some eat!--others fast.  Trinity is a community of many faces, but all of us look to "one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism."  Our mission is to Spread the Word of God, Follow the Way of Jesus Christ, and to Embody the work of the Holy Spirit.  And, this we do.

          Jesus has been called the man for others.  That might be the best way to understand Trinity United Church of Christ.  It is a church for others.  We fully participate in the mission of our denomination, the United Church of Christ.  We lend financial support to a long list of community organizations each month.  Members walk to raise dollars for hunger and breast cancer.  We have folks who help build houses with Habitat for Humanity, collect "essentials" for school children in a program called Seat Covers for Kids, conduct education and social programs for mentally challenged adults, and serve on a side variety of community organizations and committees.  Trinity is mission.
